raid sign-ups

Hey,
I don't know if I irritate some one with this topic or maybe it is not me who need to start this topic or even it could be on the wrong place...just delete it it in that case and never mention it again, but...I really got something on my mind.

Does all new members know we are a raiding guild and that they need to sign up for a raid via DKP site to participate?

When I see the sign ups for Gruul (and The eye), 16,19 peeps and that's it, it seems that not everyone knows.

Is it maybe an idea to put following 3 sentences on top of the application form?:

1) THIS IS A RAIDING GUILD, THAT MEANS THAT WE EXPECT YOU TO SIGN UP MINIMUM 2 TIMES A WEEK FOR A RAID.
2) USE THIS LINK TO FIND THE DKP SITE WHERE YOU CAN FIND YOUR DKP POINTS AND WHERE YOU CAN SIGN IN FOR RAIDS.
3) IF IT HAPPENS TOO MUCH THAT YOU DO NOT SIGN UP 2 TIMES A WEEK (WITHOUT A GOOD REASON) YOU MUST LEAVE THE GUILD.

And, hey, it doesn't mean that we don't have fun, raiding is the best fun there is.
And if you sign up it will not automatically means that you can join, but the more people that sign in the faster we all gear up and the faster we can poke the Doom Lord...

You guild officers put so much effort in creating a forum / website, arange raids, give good advice...the minimun we as members can do is show our appreciation by signing in and try to think a long on how to make this the best guild on the server...but maybe that is only my opinion...

I see your point m8 but tbh i dont think the problem is that ppl dont know where to sign up...But they just dont do it maybe becoz the chance on epic is smaller than KZ i mean we are afterall still learning gruul's Lair so theres alot of wipes and not that much loot. But for me thats one of the fun things about raiding the hole learning part. There is no better felling than taking down a boss for the first time.

And if there is a minimum of 2 raids a week then maybe there should be a rule that says "one of them has to be a 25man raid" that might help a bit.

I know you guys are still trying to get more ppl for the guild and stuff and that could be a big reason aswell for the lag of ppl that sign up simply becoz there isent that many raiding ppl.

if they sign up yeah..But lets say there are 6 ppl that cant raid that day and another 10 thats just dont fell like wipeing again or just dont fell like raiding
then we are down to the 18 or so ppl that normely sign up

All true m8 all true, but not feel like whiping??? Bad excuse when ur in a raiding guild , but hey, it was just an idea to ad something like some minor rules or explanation in the application form...I am not going to discus if willing to be whiped or not is a good excuse...I stated that it COULD be 34 active members...I am just trying to think along to get more sign ups.

Breaking the idea down is probably easier I guess.

I didn't count you in...but sometimes, just before we start a raid we shout: "for the Chuffster"
and that just doubles our forces...
